Truck Driver for many years, the patient had low back pain for 15 years with burning pain down his right leg to his foot. After seeing many doctors, and other health specialists, he underwent low back surgery few years ago. There was no change to his symptoms. After needle EMG confirmed his neuropathy, he underwent another surgery 3 months later with 50% reduction of his burning pain but no change to his low back.
This condition is called Failed Back Surgery Syndrome where the patient’s symptoms are still present or got worse after the surgery.
5 years ago, the patient started to experience continual decreasing amount of testosterone which is known as hypogonadism.
Thorough Structural Test reveal structural abnormalities at the 5th Lumbar Vertebra and 2nd Sacral Segment. Further assessment revealed the 5th Lumbar nerve was obstructed which is responsible for the burning pain and possibly involved with the neurological function of the testicles. Blood lab tests will be conducted shortly to assess testosterone levels. The 5th Lumbar Vertebra was conservatively corrected due to two surgeries to the disc which makes it biomechanically unstable.
