Mother was concerned her teenager son recently developed functional rotatory scoliosis due to trauma (not congenital — not born with scoliosis). During consultation, we learned he also experience Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, heartburn / GERD, headaches, and frequent sinus infections.
Thorough structural test and Gonstead examination revealed one major structural abnormality, the 5th Lumbar vertebra that started the domino effect resulting in the scoliosis and several compensations that turned into structural abnormalities, the 2nd, 6th, and 11th dorsal vertebra. Correcting the 5th Lumbar minimized the scoliosis. The 6th Dorsal provides structural support to the neck resulting in less headaches and sinus pressure. The 11th Dorsal improved his adrenal gland function which solved his chronic fatigue syndrome.
