Plantar Fasciitis

The patient present with left foot pain for the past 6-7 months. A Gonstead examination and structural test revealed a structural abnormality of the talus which has shifted anterior, superior, and laterally.

As a result, the medial arch of the foot (inside arch), collapsed and stretched the plantar fascia which caused the patient to experience plantar fasciitis.

By restoring the talus bone back into proper alignment, the medial arch is restored thereby alleviating pressure off the plantar fascia.
