Patient was bed ridden for 6 months in excruciating pain with sciatica going down both legs, couldn’t stand, walk or sit for few minutes. He consulted with an orthopedic surgeon who recommended surgery after seeing the MRI and wanted to operate on the 4th Lumbar herniated disc which has an extrusion — a piece of the disc that is sticking out.
