Dr. Ryan Suh at a young age experienced a traumatic bicycle accident which caused his 4th Lumbar vertebra to be severely displaced. Over the years as premature wear and tear has occurred and the nerves began to constrict more and more, numerous health issues started to surface.
The typical solutions of medication and other conventional methods provided little relief to his numerous health issues. Dr. Suh knew popping pills like candy wasn’t an answer but had no other solution. By chance, when Dr. Suh visited his first Chiropractic Mentor and received his first Chiropractic Adjustment that corrected the Structural Shift (aka Subluxation) that deprived Dr. Suh’s body from proper nerve function; the nerve pressure was removed and vitality began to flow throughout his body. Every single health issue that he suffered for the past 12 years began to resolve themselves. The body is able to heal itself as long as there’s no nerve pressure!
After experiencing what chiropractic can do, from restoring health with minor to major health issues and improving overall health, Dr. Suh found his calling in life. With passion and vigor as an advocate for chiropractic as a solution for many health issues, Dr Suh graduated from New York Chiropractic College with numerous accolades including Dean’s List, and membership in the Phi Chi Omega chiropractic honor society.
Committed to be the best chiropractor in NYC, Dr. Suh took upon himself to learn one of the most difficult and effective chiropractic methods in the profession, the world renowned Gonstead Method of Chiropractic.
Dr. Suh has invested more than 300 hours of Post Graduate studies learning the Gonstead method. Recognizing his dedication to his field he was also awarded the Appreciation for Outstanding Devotion to NYCC Gonstead Club.
Dr. Suh further dedicated himself to the Gonstead method by learning from one of the best Gonstead Chiropractor in the entire world, Dr. Drucilla Estey. Volunteering his time, he learned under her tutelage on how to deal with the most complex cases.
As Dr. Suh steadily recovered from his numerous ailments and did extensive rehabilitation to his left leg, Dr. Suh began to run. He run in races such as the NYC Half-Marathon, Brooklyn Half, Queens, so on and so forth. Recognizing his fellow runners experiencing numerous secondary conditions such as hip pain, shin splints, runner’s knee, snapping hip syndrome, plantar fascitis, and gait issues, Dr. Suh trained and became a Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician (CCSP) to further his expertise in taking care of runners and athletes.
